Commitment to Inclusion and Diversity
At Grupo Mathiesen, we are committed to Diversity and Inclusion. Our goal is to promote and foster the values of respect and diversity across our organization by enabling inclusive work environments and encouraging teams with diverse perspectives. We recognize that each person’s unique characteristics—such as gender, viewpoints, abilities, backgrounds, experiences, and nationalities—are the foundation of our sustainable growth.
For this reason, last year we accepted the invitation from SOFOFA’s Network of Inclusive Companies (ReIN), together with Fundación ConTrabajo and with the sponsorship of the Center for the Development of Social Initiatives (CEDIS) at ESE Business School, to join the #CEOsforInclusion initiative. Through this initiative, General Managers and CEOs from various companies signed a commitment to inclusion, pledging to promote the labor participation of people with disabilities.
In line with this alliance, we are pleased to share that, for the second consecutive year, together with Carlos Ponce Brodersen, we attended the “#CEOsforInclusion Gathering” alongside 37 other companies. This allowed us to continue deepening our understanding and learning about best practices in this area, as well as to review the results of Fundación ConTrabajo’s “Inclusion Barometer” study, which found that 97% of the companies participating in the alliance comply with Chile’s Labor Inclusion Law No. 21,015.
